What is the course about ?

This is a 12-week course for people who want to build an end to end strong understanding of UX. By the end of this course, the aspirant will have a full-fledged project in their portfolio and working capability of handling any project from scratch using various UX methodologies.

What will you learn?

Diving deep into UI/ UX and the Design Thinking process. Learn how to solve problems from scratch and creating great User Experiences, finish a live project and get hands-on experience working with professionals.

Who is eligible?

Students or professionals from any stream engineering, arts or commerce, experienced professionals such as analysts, engineers, programmers, managers, artists, writers, entrepreneurs and designers can take up this course.

Who is going to train you?

Trainers are graduates and postgraduates in design from the best design colleges such NID’s, IIT’s and with extensive experience in the UX Industry in Tier 1 and 2 companies. They have worked in a variety of domains, creating experiences in IOT, Augmented reality, Physical Computing, Virtual reality, Web, and Mobile.

Design Project

This course will include one live project along with the course curriculum: This project work will be taken from real life problems or industry case studies as per the choice of the candidate. Candidates will be learning how to carry out user research, finding insights through affinity analysis and creating user personas and stories. Furthermore working on creating Information Architecture, Interaction design, layout, and wireframes. Candidate will also work on conceptualization, visual design along with prototyping and usability evaluation. Not only this but they will also learn how to give effective design presentations to the jury at the end of this course.

We will also help trainees to grab good opportunities in the corporate world, start-ups, and entrepreneurship after course completion.

What is the avg package after you complete the course?

Packages anything from 6lpa to 35lpa are offered by companies.

What are the placement opportunities?

Your portfolio will be circulated to all of our clients. You should be able to get atleast 3 interview calls. With a good portfolio, cracking an interview is easy.

  1. Understanding UI and UX design and their difference, Design thinking process, Difference between good and bad design, discussing case study.
  2. Conducting User Research

    In-depth understanding of the need to conduct user research. Guide to preparing a questionnaire for user interviews. How to conduct user interviews, empathize with users and have a better understanding of the problem.
  3. Research Analysis

    Understanding how to compile and analyze the data collected during the user research process, by using Affinity Mapping.
  4. Understanding what are User Personas and User Scenarios. How and why to make user personas based on the research analysis, and what are the different attributes included in user persona and scenarios.
  5. Mental Model & Task Flows

    Understanding of what is a task flow and how to create a task flow according to the user's mental model.
  6. Grids and Layout

    Understanding grids and different types of grids and layouts. Why create grids and how to use grids and layouts in Adobe XD.
  7. Heuristic Evaluation

    Understanding heuristic principles. Evaluating the interface using the ten heuristics. A detailed explanation of all ten heuristics, with examples.
  8. Wireframe Refinement

    Refinement and creation of final wireframes based on the heuristic evaluation.
  9. Colour Theory and Theming

    Understanding the psychology of color and the color wheel, creating a mood board and color palette for the application.
  10. Typography

    Understanding different typography jargon. In-depth understanding of the process to create a character style, and Do's and Don'ts of typography.
  11. Visual Refinement

    Refinement of the interface design and some useful examples to help improve UI and visual design skills.
  12. Usability Testing

    Understanding what is usability testing. Using SUS testing and calculating task success to detect usability issues in the interface.
  13. Final refinement of the screens based on the usability testing insights. Understanding how to handoff the design specifications to the developers for further app development.
  14. Portfolio Compilation

    Understanding what is a portfolio, the need to create a portfolio, different platforms to display portfolio along with portfolio examples and steps to create a portfolio.
  15. Portfolio Creation

    Creation of portfolio, and a guide on how to create a Behance Portfolio.
  16. Interview and Jury Review

    Tips and trick on how to crack a UX interview. Mock interviews and final presentation of the portfolio.
